On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Centre de santé et des services sociaux de La Côte-de-Gaspé, I am pleased to welcome you to our new Website.

The CSSS is the result of a merger between the Centre hospitalier de Gaspé, comprising the Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu, the Centre d’hébergement Mgr-Ross and the CLSC Mer et Montagnes. In concrete terms, this means that these institutions join their efforts and strengths to offer you services that meet your needs.

The CSSS has 7 facilities throughout its territory: Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu that provides 56 beds for short term care, Mgr-Ross home care centre that offers long term care to 129 residents, acute psychiatric care to 5 clients, child psychiatry to 5 clients, as well as care to another 5 clients in the intellectual disability and mental health unit. As for Community Services (CLSC), they have facilities at Barachois, Gaspé, Grande-Vallée, Murdochville and Rivière-au-Renard.

The CSSS works relentlessly to pursue excellence through its team of doctors, specialists, nurses, nursing assistants, orderlies and other health care professionals (social workers, physiotherapists, X-Ray technicians, etc.). They are all keen on providing you with the best health care and services to fit your needs.
